Delphi for .NET Experts and Add-Ins

1. GExperts -- This is probably the expert that I have used the most in the last 4 or so years it has been around. The Grep utility is first rate and if there is something missing you can build since it is open source. Not only is it open sourced it has a great architecture that allows quick building and integration of your new experts. Download it here. 2. Castalia 2 -- Great tool! "Castalia is a suite of enhancements for the Borland Delphi development environment. Castalia is designed to help developers write code faster and more accurately, understand code more easily, and improve the design of existing code." At $99 and available for Delphi 8 for .NET it is a bargain. 3. Project Jedi -- Too many things to cover all the stuff that the project has brought under its umbrella. If you need to find something for Delphi look here. They have a great API Library but a bit outdated. 4. DelphiCodeToDoc -- Not a direct add-in for Delphi 8 but a great tool none the less. This a a good tool for developing help files for your Delphi projects. Most developers do not think about how to document their code (especially architects that build re-usable frameworks) so that others can understand the knowledge after they are gone or on another project. A tool like this should be used always.
